last update on: 12/04/2024

1,000 young people end up in hospital every year with alcohol poisoning. 9,500 people die every year as a result of smoking. We also know: Alcohol, tobacco and nicotine harm young people as they grow and affect brain development. If young people drink alcohol regularly at an early age, it increases the risk of developing alcohol problems later in life. If they consume nicotine regularly at an early age, the risk of becoming addicted to nicotine increases. It is therefore all the more important that young people cannot buy alcohol, tobacco or nicotine at restaurants, bars, stores, kiosks, gas stations or festivals. Do your part in helping to protect minors. During the online course, you will learn more about the consequences of alcohol, tobacco and nicotine consumption, what laws apply and how to behave appropriately in everyday situations. By taking this course, you will be making an important contribution to the protection of minors. Thank you.
